Karl grew up in Williams Lake, BC. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) after high school, moving East to study at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, where he obtained a French language profile, a BA with history Major, and Captained the Men’s Soccer team. Throughout his 15 years of service, he lived across Canada, achieved the rank of captain, flew tactical helicopters, and was employed in strategic planning roles.
Karl left the CAF in 2017 to focus on his family and support his wife in pursuing her career as a surgeon. Together they moved to beautiful Victoria, BC which had always had been a dream of theirs. Karl went back to school and obtained an MBA at the University of Victoria, specializing in sustainable innovation. The MBA program helped Karl identity new interests: market research, brand strategy, and business planning. He began working as a consultant with expertise in these areas for small businesses and non-profit organizations.
Karl’s passion for continuous education and love of real estate propelled him towards becoming a licensed real estate advisor. Karl specializes in marketing strategies for luxury homes, military relocation, and investment properties. Karl’s diverse work experience, education, and tailored approach to buying and selling real estate set him apart from his peers. Karl regularly volunteers with non-profit organizations that directly support community celebrations, affordable childcare, military relocation, and shelters for the homeless.
